Style Inspiration: Jessica Alba

Recently I have fallen in love with Jessica Alba; her style, her hair and her personality! She always looks effortless, yet put together. I love how she looks feminine, but adds a little edge to her style. I have been thinking about cutting my hair shorter, because I have had it long for a few years now. I'm so scared because I know that as soon as I hear the 'chop' I will want my long hair back. But I have recently turned 18 and I feel like I need an update and change. Jessica's hair is so gorgeous, it looks lovely short and curled (as seen in some pictures below). I don't know whether I could pull it off. Well, definitely not like she does! So, we'll see if I take the leap of faith and chop off my hair.

Military Stripes

Hi, everyone! I just had my english exam today, and this is what I wore. I am sooo in love with this new military vest I got from ebay for only $25.00! It is so versatile. I wore a striped top, a black cardigan and then the vest over the top. It was such a cold day, but I got hot from nerves and it was good to be able to take the layers off as i needed. I wore simple black comfy leggings and these cute heeled boots which are super comfy. I'm sure you'll be seeing this vest again!

Peace America

I actually bought this top to wear as part of my 'Ke$ha" costume as part of muck up week, which was my last week of school ever! I just realised I have the perfect colour heels and necklace to match. This was paired with my favourite item - my pleated leather skirt. I think this would make such a cute outfit. I have not had time to take any outfit pictures as I have 4 days left before my English exam uh oh.

TEAL

I wore this to a school art exhibition. I'm such a fan of maxi dresses. They are classy & feminine. I feel like a lady in them and love not showing as much skin as most girls! Teal is probably my most favourite colour. Seeing as though the skirt is so bold I just wore a black cropped blazer and a gold necklace. I did add extra colour in my shoes which are royal blue. Love these shoes! So comfy and I love the colour.

Oh, by the way I got a new camera! SO exciting! It's a canon 600d. So much clarity!

L.A Baby!

These are some pictures of me from the weekend, my friend has an amazing flash thats makes your skin look flawless! I was wearing my favourite shirt. It has a picture of beverly hills on it and "L.A" written on it. I am absolutely in love and obsessed with this city. It's grunge-ish and I paired it with an edgy pleated leather skirt (one of my favourite items!) My friend says it look like a netball skirt, but I looove it! What do you think? Oh and the shoes are little suede booties I got for $5! LOVE  xo

Aztec Leggings

I wore this outfit on a trip to Melbourne. I'm a huge fan of print leggings.. and my previous black and white ones were getting a bit worn. I was so happy when I found these aztec leggings on ebay for only $14 (here). I paired it with a cute neon lime tee with an uneven hem. I bought the blazer a few months ago in Sydney, it was only $15 on sale! I bought it with DIY in mind. As soon as I got home I ordered some studs of ebay of various sizes. I am soo happy with the result. I'm now in love with embellished shoulders!

Leggings: Ebay (here) -$14
Neon top: Ebay (here) -$11
Blazer (DIY): SES Fashion (here) -$15

First Ever Post!

So.....  I'm new to this whole blogging thing. I was planning on making a blog at the end of this year (after year 12) but I've decided to get a kick start. Along with year 12 I am doing a Fashion styling course, this picture is one of the 4 outfits that I had to style. I also wore this to an 18th birthday party. The pink top is a neon/coral pink which I LOVE! I  had seen a few pleated leather skirts on some blogs and really wanted one but I couldn't find one anywhere. But about a month ago I found one at Ally Fashion (here). It is now sold out, but they sell a similar one at Glassons (here).

Top: Paper scissors on sale  -$10
Skirt: Ally Fashion -$40
Heels: Ebay -$30
